Jersey Devil Press Loves You

Mola Ram Loves You Too

Valentine’s Day is tomorrow, and, while there’s always the chance everything will go fine and the night will end with you, your significant other, and an empty bottle of wine, it could also end with the violent shooting deaths of seven mobsters, or with you cooking dinner for your roommates, realizing halfway through that February 14th is important to some people and you probably should go see your girlfriend, shrugging it off, finishing dinner, and then going to see your girlfriend anyway and having to have one of those big, important, stupid relationship conversations at ten at night with little to no chance of that bottle of wine showing up. You know, hypothetically.

Our point is, while the world is terrifying and sometimes snorts when it laughs, there is one constant that you can grab onto: Jersey Devil Press loves you. Platonically, romantically, and sometimes we watch you with binoculars while you’re in the shower-ly.

That is why, on this wonderful day, we are giving you less than three (less than three = <3, get it?!) of our most romantic titles, filled with loving, longing, and boners. Between today, Wed. 13th, and Sun. 17th, you can get Danger_Slater's Love Me and Eirik Gumeny and Stephen Schwegler’s Screw the Universe for free for your Kindle. Two more perfect books about the search for love and sweet, sweet lovin’ there never were.

Look, we’re not saying you should steal your wife’s Kindle, download these books (and the .pdf of the February issue [which is actually about love {albeit the mutual masturabation to ducks kind}]) onto it, wrap it, and give it back to her in lieu of flowers and chocolates. We’re just saying that, if you do, we guarantee it will be a Valentine’s Day she never forgets.

A Week of LOVE ME

the world's most flammable novelHi. Welcome to Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Love Me, by Danger_Slater, has been out for a week now, so I think it’s safe to assume you’ve bought it, read it, and loved it. Right? Right. Good.

“But, uh, now what?” you’re probably asking.

Well, now you get other people to buy it, read it, and love it for their own damn selves. Danger has authorized the use of deadly force to accomplish this, but we’ve got a couple other options you might want to try first.

First, you should leave reviews of Love Me at your online retailer of choice. Or Goodreads. Or on your blog. Or scrawled above a urinal. Get the word out about the book is what we’re saying. Just make sure they’re good words.

Here is a handy flyer to help you in your goals. Print it out and stick it places. Colleges, bookstores, coffee houses. If you own a small plane, rain it down on unsuspecting pedestrians. It’ll be awesome.

Second, enter the giveaway for a free copy of Love Me on Goodreads.

I’m not actually certain how giving shit away for free helps sell more copies, but you should enter anyway. And then tell your friends. Because everyone can afford free.
