By now, all the contributors to the 2010 Jersey Devil Press Anthology should have received their copies. With the probable exception of the international ones. (Sorry, Gavin and yt! Your books are on their way, we promise!) Consider it a “thanks” from us to you for being awesome. Or consider it payment. Whatever’s better for you.

Seriously, though. Thank you to everyone — contributors to the online magazine, to the the book, readers, writers who haven’t made it to the site yet, that newspaper guy in Wisconsin — for sticking with us and helping us do what we do. As with almost all online mags, money is a foreign, lusted-after thing for us. Jersey Devil Press is a labor of love and caffeine, so knowing we’re being read, knowing we’re appreciated, goes a long way.

I personally enjoy the fact that he has no idea how he found us. Fate? Magic? Boredom and the internet? Who cares! Thanks for the kind words, Ken.

And it looks like “Golden Streams of Babylon,” by Andrew Frankel, was pegged as today’s genre story on Fiction Daily. Sweet.

I’m sure someday we’ll stop being so excited and proud about being appreciated. Not, you know, soon, but someday.
