After a couple of weeks of dicking around behind the scenes, it’s our pleasure to formally announce the 2010 Jersey Devil Press Anthology!

The 2010 Anthology showcases the best of what we’ve published so far, as well as six — count ‘em, six! — new stories, all of which epitomize what we here at Jersey Devil Press are about. Stories rife with Jersey attitude, dark humor, and zombies, and werebears, and unicorns, oh my! It’s a veritable bacchanal of genre-straddling, clown-fearing, taco-hunting, world-ending prose!

The 2010 Anthology is set for release on Tuesday, July 27th, and will be available in paperback and a variety of digital editions.

We’re Worth Reading! 0

Posted on February 19, 2010 by Jersey Devil Press

Ken Brosky from Express Milwaukee gave us a nice little write-up last week. You can find it here.

I personally enjoy the fact that he has no idea how he found us. Fate? Magic? Boredom and the internet? Who cares! Thanks for the kind words, Ken.

And it looks like “Golden Streams of Babylon,” by Andrew Frankel, was pegged as today’s genre story on Fiction Daily. Sweet.

I’m sure someday we’ll stop being so excited and proud about being appreciated. Not, you know, soon, but someday.

Number Five is alive! 0

Posted on January 31, 2010 by Jersey Devil Press

I didn’t think there’d ever be a time in my life where I’d purposely quote Short Circuit, but there you go.

Issue Five is indeed alive, or at least as alive as an online publication is gonna get. To commemorate such an indivisible milestone, we’ve got five–count ‘em, five–stories, from five authors, about five different topics. Our prime number lovers include Louis Wittig, Marc-Anthony Taylor, Dawn-Michelle Baude, Brandon Blackburn, and Andrew Frankel. Holy crap.

As always, this issue is available in two varieties: as a downloadable .pdf or you can read ‘em online. Choose wisely.
