Also, <em>Scooby Doo<\/em> references.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jerseydevilpress.com\/?page_id=4950\" title=\"interior design\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cInterior Design\u201d<\/a> follows, in which Rob Ern dares to consider what could be more terrifying than the Necronomicon.  The answer, of course, is HGTV.  <\/p>\n<p>Next, Laura Garrison brings you a weird Western, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jerseydevilpress.com\/?page_id=4951\" title=\"fluffytown\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cThe Madness of Fluffytown.\u201d<\/a> It\u2019s a story that also answers the question most of us have long pondered: what if Cthulhu were less squidlike and more, well, poultry.  <\/p>\n<p>Jason Andrew then mashes up Lovecraft\u2019s Dream Cycle stories with Charles Perrault\u2019s French fairy tale, \u201cPuss in Boots.\u201d  Yeah, we would never have thought of that combination in a million years either, but Jason pulls it off nicely in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jerseydevilpress.com\/?page_id=4952\" title=\"whispers\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cWhispers to the Moon Are Always Heard by Cats.\u201d<br \/>\n<\/a><br \/>\nFinally, Christopher Keelty closes out the proceedings with the straight-up unsettling <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jerseydevilpress.com\/?page_id=4953\" title=\"watcher\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cThe Watchers in the Dark.\u201d<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>\u2018Cause <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jerseydevilpress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/jdp_issue_July2013.pdf\" title=\"issue 44\" target=\"_blank\">a Lovecraft issue<\/a> should end with a story that will give you nightmares.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Issue 44 lies waiting for you to read, far beneath the ocean depths, in the stupefying ruins of R\u2019yleh, sheltered in the shadows of madness.
