I\u2019m walking down the street and
\nthinking about things and thinking about people
\nand wishing that people are things.
\nI go into a store and buy a zucchini
\nbecause it whispers to me: I\u2019m happy.
\nI buy some toothpicks and also a knife.
\nI sit in the park and stick toothpicks in the zucchini;
\nit is not a Voodoo doll — but it is a zucchini.
\nI carve a smiley face; I smile my carving face.
\nI name my zucchini: Zucchini Friend.
\nIt belches thank you, sir.
\nWith a twinkle, I belch you\u2019re welcome, friend.
\nIt barks. I look into its slits. I gush;
\nI flush red flesh; I know green.
\nI can\u2019t contain my happiness so much
\nI\u2019m coughing with joy all over my zucchini.<\/p>\n
