She\u2019ll grow tall as an oak.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>ALEX LEDFORD<\/strong> received her MFA from the University of New Hampshire. Since graduating, she\u2019s returned to her native North Carolina to write, teach, and help with <em>Outlook Springs<\/em>, a fledgling journal.
