You have turned me to stone.
\nMistaken me for an enemy
\nMy throat is full
\nlips weighed down with the things I need to say
\nI stand in your garden and watch<\/p>\n
A hero,
\na coward, come on flying feet
\ncloaked in Death\u2019s shadow.
\nHe cannot see you,
\nonly your reflection
\nI watch, wishing my voice could wake you,
\nmy scream slams uselessly against my stone skull,
\nand, so he takes your head,<\/p>\n
But your blood creates the red sea
\nYou birth a slithering multitude
\nthat spans across continents
\nDeath has not rendered you powerless,
\nBut a weapon of the gods.
\nI watch, remember, and stand as a monument to you.<\/p>\n
